Grand Lake Water Level Petition to GRDA and FERC
We, the
undersigned, urge the Grand River Dam Authority and the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission to eliminate the Rule Curve requirement that
necessitates dropping the Grand Lake water level to a dangerous and
destructive low of 741’. Instead, we urge the development of an
alternative habitat for migrating waterfowl and utilization of available
technology to address the feeding of migratory waterfowl and the flood
control needs of upstream areas. |
